Renaissance Staycation

T

hey make sure to take care of every single detail for your enjoyment and comfort.

You guys know I love Staycations! Especially when they are at my favorite hotel in Dallas. As you guys saw a few weeks ago I got to stay at the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West. I have a special bond with this hotel, because when I lived in Plano this is where I would come a few times a week to work from. The scent you get as soon as you come in and the atmosphere of the Texas and Asian fusion is honestly unexplainable. Anyway, if you guys are in Dallas or are wanting to Visit Dallas you most definitely need to stay here and this is why.

The rooms are amazingly comfortable and cozy! The Renaissance was generous enough to let me stay in their presidential suite for a few days and I definitely felt super special. However, every room has the Renaissance stamp on it and they make sure to take care of every single detail for your enjoyment and comfort.

They also have the best pool in Plano, I came here last summer and when the cabanas are out you can just relax with a few cocktails and enjoy the great Texas weather. There is also a jacuzzi for the cooler seasons so you can still make it out and enjoy this hotel no matter the time of year.

If you are a workout junkie like me, then you will love their gym! They have tons of equipment and I know it may seem crazy to workout on your time off but for me making sure a hotel has a good gym is very important when booking a hotel. You want to make sure you can get those workouts in as conveniently as possible especially if you’re from out of town and here on a business trip.

The food is the best! Its not any kind of hotel food. The food at Oma has an asian fusion with tons of options for breakfast and dinner! I had the most amazing salmon bagel one morning, while also trying their oatmeal, parfait, and breakfast plates.

Now if you are wanting to head out to dinner and explore, some of the best restaurants in Dallas are all located in Legacy West, so you can literally walk there. My personal favorite restaurants are Bulla Gastrobar, which is next door to the hotel. They have amazing tapas, paella and the desserts are the best I’ve ever had.  North Italia has the  freshest  Italian pasta made daily and they have so many options to choose from.  There is also Fogo de Chao which is a Brazilian steakhouse that has a great Happy Hour. Their Brazilian cocktails are to die for!! Def a must, but my ultimate favorite place is Legacy Hall! Legacy Food Hall is a foodies Mecca!  They have tons of food stalls to choose from and its your one stop shop for any of your cravings that day! My recommendations are: Roots Chicken, Degenhardts Brat Haus, and Forno Nero!

So once you’ve gotten your food itinerary out of the way, you might want to grab some cocktails at Whiskey Moon before you head out. They have great handcrafted cocktails and also a super cute patio to enjoy them from during the summer. If you’re favorite team is playing that day you can also watch it from their screens while sitting back and relaxing at their bar. Every day during the week at 6pm they even have a ritual where they make a specialty cocktail for everyone in the lobby! Such a great way to end the day!

If you're more of a coffee lover you’ll enjoy the Texas Teahouse and Market!

This is where I would come visit and get the yummiest iced latte before I got to all my work. Now if you dont like coffee they also have boba options, and these are super fresh so you’ll always get the most amazing drinks here!

I honestly could not rave about this hotel enough. Its my favorite in Dallas and if you’re ever wanting to visit, this is definitely where I would recommend to stay! Thank you Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West for letting me stay here! I had such a blast and can’t wait to visit again!

When the cabanas are out you can just relax with a few cocktails and enjoy the great Texas weather
